Dear Friends,
Happy to share my words with you at the holy season of Christmas.
Thank you for your valuable contribution to joining your hands in our
journey towards empowering landless ndl homeless.
We are still battling with corona virus globally. The percentage
of recovery is quite comforting. We all learn to live with it, fight it
and slowly overcome it.
Before completely erasing the sad memories of Easter attack by IS in
the last year, we have to face another attack of the epidemic this year
from March till today. Our fishing village was completely under
lockdown for 4 months and not allowed to go for fishing. Hence we
managed to give them food materials four times for all the 168 families
in the village from the donation of local people. (Pictures attached).
As we still fight with epidemic there came two cyclones one after
another in October and November in the North- East of the country made
some families homeless in our village and lot of damage to property.
This year we could only build a house, but construct four wells for
families and were busy with planting trees and converting two sandy
into tarred roads. As the schools are closed for longer period, we
conducted extra tuition classes for the children.
Our prayer and worship in the churches were suspended due to virus. Our
homes are turned to be new places of worship.
In appreciation of your kind assistance and continued concern, we thank
you in a special manner at this season. Let me wish you meaningful
Christmas and pray and hope the Good Lord keep you healthy and safe
throughout the New Year.

ich bin glücklich, mit Euch in der
heiligen Weihnachtszeit meine Gedanken zu teilen.
Vielen Dank für Euren wertvollen
Beitrag, Eure Hände zu vereinen auf dem Weg, Wohnungs- und Heimaltlose
zu ertüchtigen.
Wir kämpfen immer noch weltweit mit
dem Coronavirus. Der Prozentsatz der Genesenden ist ganz tröstlich. Wir
alle lernen, damit zu leben, es zu bekämpfen und es allmählich zu
überwinden.
Bevor vollständig die traurige
Erinnerung an das Attentat an Ostern im letzten Jahr durch den IS
überwunden ist, müssen wir einem anderen Angriff durch die
Epidemie in diesem Jahr von März bis heute ins Auge schauen. Unser
Fischerdorf war vollständig unter Lockdown für 4 Monate, und es war
nicht gestattet, fischen zu gehen. Daher waren wir gezwungen, ihnen
Lebensmittel zu geben, viermal für alle 168 Familien in dem Dorf
aus den Spenden der Einheimischen. (Bilder beigefügt). Als wir noch mit
der Epidemie kämpften, kamen zwei Zyklone einer nach dem anderen im
Oktober und November in den Nord-Osten des Landes und machten einige
Familien in unserem Dorf heimatlos und richteten eine Verwüstung
an.
In diesem Jahr konnten wir nur ein
Haus bauen, dafür aber vier Brunnen für Familien, und wir waren
beschäftigt mit dem Pflanzen von Bäumen und dem Umwandeln von zwei
Sandwegen
in geteerte Straßen. Da die Schulen für einen längeren Zeitraum
geschlossen sind, richteten wir zusätzliche Unterrichtklassen für die
Kinder ein.
Unser Gebet und Gottesdienst in den
Kirchen wurden eingestellt aufgrund des Virus. Unsere Häuser
wandelten sich zu neuen Orten des Gottesdienstes.

Unterstützung und stete Fürsorge danken wir Euch in einer besonderen
Art und Weise in dieser Zeit. Lasst mich Euch ein bedeutungsvolles
Weihnachten wünschen und beten und hoffen, der liebe Gott halte Euch
gesund und beschütze Euch allezeit im Neuen Jahr.
